External Practitioner Hire — To hire a pool as an external practitioner, you must complete a brief eligibility assessment prior to your first booking. This involves a short phone call to confirm suitability and a video walkthrough of the equipment. See our Practitioner Hire page for more detail. External practitioners hiring the pool pay only once each session, not for themselves and their client.
Self-Managed Pool Hire — Clients accessing the facility independently must complete a 15-minute safety assessment before their first session. This involves a short phone call to confirm suitability and a video walkthrough of the equipment.
External Practitioner hire uses our larger swim spas, which are suitable for multiple patients in the water at the same time. Self-Managed hire uses the smaller single-person spa.
Contrast Therapy sessions are booked as pool hire using the hot & cold pools option.
Funding & Billing Options
NDIS
Bulk billed under NDIS item 15_055_0128_1_3 (standard) or 15_003_0118_1_3 (participants under 9). No out-of-pocket cost. Following your session, we send the invoice directly to your yourself or plan manager for eligible participants. Plan-managed and self-managed participants welcome. We do not support NDIA managed participants.
WorkCover QLD
Bulk billed under item 100402. No out-of-pocket cost. Requires a GP referral and an accepted WorkCover claim. After your first session, we ask that you provide your claim manager’s name so we can submit a Provider Management Plan for approval. We process invoices directly through the WorkCover QLD portal after each session. Provider number: P0007082686.
CTP Insurance
Bulk billed to your CTP insurer. No out-of-pocket cost. We obtain approval for your initial consultation, then submit a Provider Management Plan to request further sessions if required. Requires a referral from your treating practitioner for injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Medicare
A Medicare rebate applies under item 10960. The gap payment depends on the session length you choose — simply deduct the rebate of $61.80 from the session price. 30 min = $29.70 gap, 45 min = $75.45 gap, 60 min = $121.20 gap. Requires a GP referral under a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan. Up to 5 allied health sessions per calendar year. Please ensure your GP refers you for a one-on-one hydrotherapy session with a physiotherapist.
Private Health Insurance
We are unable to advise your exact rebate amount as this varies by fund and level of extras cover. Claim on the spot via HICAPS. To check your eligibility and rebate, contact your health insurer and provide our physiotherapy item numbers (500 for initial, 505 for subsequent sessions) and provider number 417602CJ.
DVA
We bulk bill DVA — no out-of-pocket cost. Gold Card holders can access treatment for any condition. White Card holders can access treatment for accepted service-related conditions only, and prior approval is required to confirm the condition matches the treatment. A GP referral is recommended. Please contact us before your first booking so we can confirm your eligibility and arrange approval.
Home Care Package
Available to clients with a Level 1–4 HCP who have Allied Health funding allocated and case manager approval in place. We invoice your HCP provider directly — no out-of-pocket cost if your funding covers the session fee.
Private Pay
Full fee is payable at time of appointment. We accept all major credit and debit cards and EFTPOS. No referral required.
